Have you ever
Have you ever
Felt the earth
Cradle you
As an infant in
Its mothers arms
Or seen the
Farthest stars blink
As they patiently
Watch over you
Have you ever
Felt the trees’
Embrace
Stronger than a house
Can hold your life
Or recognized
The comforting breeze
Sweeping happy tears
From your face
Have you ever
Been seduced by
The love for strangers
Becoming instant friends
You just never met
Or experienced
Utterly completeness
By being all alone
Yet never lonely
Have you ever
Ever
Been home
To a place
You’ve never
Been before
That grounds
All lasting longings
To a finally belong
Have you ever
Been home
Like that
